3. Cleaning: Remove old wax from the burner before adding new melts. Use gentle pressure or heat the wax slightly to soften it for easy removal.

5. Extinguishing: If using a tea-light burner, let the tea light burn out completely, or extinguish it carefully using a snuffer. If using an electric warmer, switch it off before leaving the room.
